San Antonio police have released a 911 dispatch call reporting a "Bigfoot" sighting.
The audio recording between a dispatcher and the homeless couple lasts more than eight minutes. In it, the primary caller appears sober and deliberate as she describes the beast Nov. 30.
“And I know you guys are going to think I'm crazy, but I'm dead serious," she says on the recording. "This big thing was 75 feet away from me, smelled awful, devoured a whole deer carcass, and then took off and screamed, screeched, and took off across the street.”
“I'm going to tell you right now, I've lived in the woods six years. Swear to God, I've never seen nothing like this. I'm 6'3"; it's bigger than me,” said her 63-year old husband.
The couple claims the creature walked upright as it carried the deer carcass off into the woods.
Police reports indicate dispatchers sent an officer by the location that night, but he found no sign of the couple or the beast.
The callers said they were living in a tent in the woods in northwest San Antonio, near the intersection of Highway 151 and Loop 1604. The area has acres of wooded terrain surrounding it.

 I am looking for any individuals who live in the Berks, Chester, Montgomery or any other bordering county to start up a bigfoot research group here in the eastern part of Pennsylvania. In the past i have gone on hikes and overnighters by myself but am thinking its not so safe to be doing that anymore. LOL. I guess i am just getting wiser with age. Anyways, i am not looking to form a group or club that needs to pay dues or anything like that. Just a club of dedicated people with a passion for bigfoot who would like to go on hikes now & then preferably in areas where there are either current or past sightings. Dauphin County, Pa. - A Dauphin County man, who wishes to remain anonymous, says he may have caught images of Bigfoot with his flip-cam.
He says he was hiking the Appalachian Trail with his wife back in October when he came across what looked like a fort. He started filming, and says that's when he started hearing strange noises.
"You can actually hear it go 'huh-ah,' like a monkey. I mean, deep in the lungs," he said. "I panicked. The sounds were loud and they freaked me out, to be honest with you. I told my wife we need to get out of here. There's something up in these woods."

Last Monday, 10/26/09, i took the opportunity to drive up to Tohickon Valley Park to do some hiking and see if there were any signs of our forest friend. You can check out the pics from my hike in the "Tohickon Valley" pics in my myspace photo albums: www.myspace.com . Apparantly there have been a few bigfoot sightings there over the years. There are 3 pics or so in there of what i believe to be lightly imprinted footprints of some sort. To give them scale i placed my little flip video camcorder next to them. The camcorder measures approximately 4" long. The prints were well over 13"+ long but unfortunately not very clean. I believe heavy rains in the area degraded them. The heel was imprinted the deepest & looking closely i could see the imprints of what appeared to be 5 digits/toes. The prints were found in a soaked runoff about 50 yards from the creek. Otherwise, really nothing else to note other than as you can see by the terrain and the trout stocked creek it would be a suitable environment for any bigfoot or bigfoot like creature. I do plan to go back again this year for more extensive hiking.

SELIGMAN, ARIZONA -- Seligman is the birthplace of historic Route 66, but could it also be the home of Bigfoot? "Java" Bob Smallsback of Searching for Bigfoot, Inc. is in town researching two reported Bigfoot sightings by a Phoenix man who is building a cabin in the area. The sightings reportedly happened on two different occasions over the past two years. Smallsback says he was called in after the most recent sighting and claims he was able to track the creature, finding what he says is a fingernail where the Sasquatch had stubbed his toe on a rock.
Smallsback says a team from Searching for Bigfoot, Inc. will be in Seligman for the next few months in hopes of making contact with the elusive creature.

Sheriff says remains not ID’d

A body found in the Big Black River near U.S. 80 late Monday and believed to be human was determined this morning to be that of an unidentified animal.
The determination came as an autopsy began at the Mississippi State Crime Lab in Jackson.
“It is not human,” Warren County Sheriff Martin Pace said. “I repeat, it is not human.”...read more--->
