The 2009 Honobia Bigfoot Conference and Festival .....October 2nd and 3rd....in Honobia , Oklahoma nestled in the Kiamichi Wilderness in the southeast corner of the state.Sponsored by the Talihina Chamber of Commerce and hosted by the Mid- America Bigfoot Research Center, and Texla Research Group , the 3rd Annual Honobia, Oklahoma Bigfoot Conference is going to be exciting as we welcome our speakers to this year’s event. Dr. Jeff Meldrum – Associate Professor, Idaho State University, Bigfoot authority and frequent Television guest on Bigfoot-related shows. Kathy Strain – Noted archeologist, PNW Bigfoot authority, Thom Powell - Noted Bigfoot Authority and author of “The Locals” Cullen Hudson –Author of “Strange State” about strange occurrences in Oklahoma. And a special film Clip from Todd Partain - Producer of “Eyes in the Dark”, a documentary about Bigfoot and several other guest speakers . As for the Festival itself Activities for this year’s festival are still to be announced and we will have even more activities then last year’s festival ..this is what we havesofar...Campfire StoryTelling ,Art Show ,Arts & Crafts ,Bigfoot Book Store ,The Bigfoot Conference ,Entertainment ,Rides,
Food Booths ,Horse Drawn Carriage and Pony Rides , and Overnight camping as well as Cabins and RV slots avalable.
There will also be Native American Arts and Crafts , and Dance Demenstration teams.
